Rigid PVC Film

Rigid PVC Film is calendared by pressing polyvinyl chloride compound through a series of rollers. The thickness is controlled by the spacing between the rollers and the surface of the film can be made to be smooth or matte depending on the embossing of the finishing rollers. After leaving the calendaring rollers the plastic film passes over a series of cooling and conditioning rollers. It is then either wound into rolls or cut into flat sheets. This material offers outstanding mechanical strength, excellent flame resistance, and protection against moisture and chemicals, making it a reliable and cost-effective choice for various manufacturing and packaging needs.

Rigid PVC film can be formulated for printing. The uniform surface and the consistent gauge control of the film provides an excellent finish for 4 color Lithographic Printing and Screen Printing. The printed rigid vinyl film are usually made into credit/ID cards, signs, labels, nursery tags, labels, etc. The product is available in both sheet and roll stock.
